I think it is from the same plant that is used for green, black and white tea but it is prepared differently. Anyone know the specifics of its preperation etc.? Thank you.

Has green tea got caffeine in? If so can you get decaff?
Since I try not to drink caffeine, so I drink decaff black tea, and red tea, which is naturally decaff.

I’ve currently revamped my whole lifestyle when I deployed to Afghanistan with the Army. I’ve got nothing to do here, so i’m focusing more on my health and fitness while I am here. Besides my new work out regimen, i’m trying to stop drinking soda, coffee and anything with sugar. So my question is, is Green Tea a healthy choice or should I just continue drinking water only?

I love both green tea and regular tea.

I drink green tea plain or with milk and sugar and both ways are good.

I drink regular tea with milk, either with or without sugar.

I mean scientifically proven benefits. not the benefits which haven’t been proven by science. I have heard lots of good things about green tea but I found out that very few of them are actually proven in medical community.

It could be that manufacturers of green tea intentionally create false impressions about its advantages, since they want their product to be sold. That is why I ask. Thanks

Ive herd from a lot of people that drinking green tea helps boost your metabolism but i was wondering if taking the pills (Ex.Ultra green tea) would be better then drinking it

I know this may sound like a stupid question, but the thing is, the green tea that I buy at the store tastes nothing like the kind at the Chinese restaurants that I go to. It’s not as bitter as the kind I buy. Is it a different brand, brewing technique, etc.? How can I find some at the store?

I try many green tea, haven’t find one that is actually green in the water, all like brown or yellow. Why is that? Which type of Green tea is for sure green?
