Does green tea makes us gloomy and depressed?

I have been drinking green tea for the past three days (for its benefits), but I find myself more depressed, feel like crying over problems that I don’t usually think about. Is this an effect of the green tea, and why is it?

well, i think you might be taking it a little too much. green tea contains about a third the amount of caffiene in coffee. overdoses of caffiene can cause anxiety and depression, so you might want to lower your intake of green tea a little bit.
idk, try not drinking it for a couple wks and see if ur mood changes…
good luck!
The green tea bags you are using are not strong enough to really have a health effect more than any other tea. You need to take Green Tea Extract 60+% EGCG.
NO, It should give you more energy even without having caffeine.
Perhaps thinking about doing things to better your health has made you think of other things that might make you feel gloomy.
Did you stop drinking caffeine when you started drinking the green tea? The absence of caffeine might account for the change in your mood.
Feel better.
