Green tea does not speed up your metabolism to any measurable degree, it is a bit of a diuretic. Keep drinking it.. how many cups are you talking about..
If you consume 4500 calories per day, I am sure within that, will be something else which will speed up your metabolism much mire than green tea.. , maybe too much pasta, (carbohydrate/sugar) – too much meat maybe .. something you are allergic too… lots of options..
How many hours to you workout per day .. do you give your body the chance to regenerate?
Come to think of it… , what ever food you are addicted to, you are most likely allergic to… maybe you should give it a rest and test it it out… unfortunately we can become allergic to even the healthiest food/drink
4500 calories a day!! wow, thats awesome I eat about 1000 but I am probably going to have to cut back on that even!
Thats awesome! and yeah I have heard it but i never tried it…green tea is just too ugh, i took some pills though with green tea supplements abd I lost some weight through that
You can drink all the tea you want……… lol. Your problem is you workout 5 times a week. Youre probably doing waaaay too much cardio. You are probably working out for long periods of time???? cut back on the time in your workout sessions, and start doing predominantly weight lifting as opposed to cardio. Also, focus on less repitions and heavier weights in order to bulk up. You might also want to take some whey protein. You shouldnt have a problem putting on some muscle-weight
i <3 green tea .
im drinkin it now ! yummm !
If you have a fast metabolism that’ss great! You burn alot more calories when you workout then that of a casual lifter or runner. Green tea does speed up you metabolism and keep drinking but i would recommand to much of it.
Scientists belive it does speed up your metabolism, but it never worked for me *sulks*…anyhow, maybe you could cut back on the green tea to a cup or 2 a day if you think it’s affecting you that much and go about your normal routine to see if that helps you gain some weight.
NO
Yes green tea does speed up your metabolism but not by much…You are probably just naturally thin anyway..so stopping the green tea will most likely not make you gain weight.
Green tea is simply regular tea picked when the leaf is still green. It has gain attention recently due to the fact that it has more bioflavinoids and anti-oxidants than regular tea, however it contains roughly the same amount of caffiene as regular tea. As you probably know, caffiene is a stimulant that will increase your metabolism temporarily by activating your adrenal glands. As long as you’re not drinking 7+ cups a day, you should be fine. If you start to feel ‘shaky’, faint, or jittery, adjust your intake accordingly. Other than that, drinking green tea is fine, and has many heath benefits.
