Wednesday afternoon, April 15th, tax day, Dr. Rand Paul attended and addressed the tax protest. Dr. Paul has been traveling the state meeting with supporters and gauging support for a possible 2010 Senate Run. The Bowling Green Tea Party was held at Fountain Square Park downtown, and the rally began at 5 PM It was a peaceful protest against the recent unprecedented policies of our government. well, we could stop spending all together and allow our roads, hospitals and schools to fall apart or, novel idea, we could stop spending billions on unnecessary wars, reinstate pay-go and tax our wealthiest citizens at a reasonable rate. right now an individual earning $60,000 a year is paying a higher marginal tax-rate than Bill Gates. Perhaps the problem is that the current tax structure is unfair, not that taxes in general are unfair.

@pihingler lol the schools are already failing. come to california if you dont’ believe me. as far as the roads go, the people who atually live n that town or city can decide on that. taxing is basically robbing people from there money. the government has no money, so it needs to tax and rob you from your power. i say give more power to the people, meaning less tax.
