nice video!
ive lived in japan for 10 years and only drank green tea when we eat out. now i drink it everyday instead of soda and energy drinks.
it’s nice to see someone who’s as obsessed with tea as I am =P
have you tried Gyokuro green tea (shade grown. it’s sweeter and more emerald green in color) or oolong tea? (partially fermented. it also has less caffeine and is sweeter because the the tea is rolled which breaks up the out membrane where most of the caffeine and bitter components are stored. oolong tea can tastes completely different depending on the variety you get (my favorite kind tastes like a cinamon cream puff).
that Chinese proverb has some truth to it. I just had my first cup of tea in a week and I feel like a STUD! =)
PS: if you use loose leaf tea, steep it at a lower temperature (around 180 degrees as opposed to boiling) and steep it for only 3 minutes, your tea will taste much better. it’s about 2-3 times the costs, but it’s SO worth it. the best teas come from either rural farmers in Japan or China, or Taiwan (Taiwan doesn’t try to rip off foreign customers. they ‘ll sell you the good stuff)
Ancient chinese proverb, “Man who stand on toilet is high on pot”
i just had my second ever cup of green tea and i went from feeling depressed with no energy and wanting to sit ont he couch idle to refreshed, happy and clear minded. i’m quite impressed already. this could save my life.
that is actually pretty funny
I don’t really like the taste of green tea, so I steep about 8 bags and then pir one of those little sugar free tubs of something like Wylers into it, and drink it that way.
As a tea connoisseur, I am surprised you do not drink the ultimate green tea: Matcha, yes this fine green powder ceremonial tea. You drink the whole leaf not just the small part that leeches out by steeping. I am ordering it from Japan and once you have this, you will throw out your green tea stems tea bags. It is pricey but worth every penny.
do you live in Lawrence, Kansas? I think I know you =)
kind of crazy, i was wounded and very depressed and going through withdrawls from my pain meds. oxy (opiates) and its amazing how when i drink green tea i dont feel like crap. all my mental thoughts racing through my head are now not as severe. i drink 4-6 cups a day.
I order my tea directly from the country that i want it from.
cool
Get the leafs, its better than bags, procesing takes out some of the good stuff. The best stuff I ever had was bought back from China for me. They were small balls of rolled leafs, you only neded 3 or four and they opened out like sea weed but you could refill it all day. It tasted amazing and I lost weight drinking it every day!
green tea is the key i drink it everyday all you people who dont want cancer then drink greent tea
You say organic is best… but is it possible to just grow the leaves yourself? I don’t know much about it. Do you think it’s practical to do so?
‘eck-uh-nay-shuh’
eck as in neck
uh as in duh
nay rhymes with hay, pay, lay
shuh rhymes with duh, like shush (quiet!)
Coffee didn’t do crap for me, but when I drink 2 cups of Green tea during my break at work, and my lunch…I feel so much better, I feel like I can get along with anyone, even if customers yell at me..I’m just calm and my thinking is so clear. LOL
i drink green tea every day too!
God I love green tea…
guy looks wired
ahha cool vid tho
what do u say about loose tea.. like tea thats not in a bag?
i love green tea – but personally dont buy into organic is better gimmick
just because there is a stamp on a box that says “certified” doesnt mean crap – even more so if it originates from a third world country
green teeeeeeeeeeaaa!
This is a very informative video, thank you very much. I’ve been a tea drinker all my life, but only PG Tips, which is my favourite standard tea. I’ve experimented with more exotic teas, such as green and white teas, but I find they don’t provide the same level of comfort as good old PG Tips!
Thank You and your skin looks great I will start drinking more tea! Thanks!!!
Are the Tea’s listed in the video often expensive?
