Add a couple of drops of Stevia. It’ll sweeten it up, sugar-free and nasty chemical free!

My personal opinion on green tea is the same it’s kinda gross but it’s benifits are wonderful. . . . but i’ve found that as you’re fixing it add some sugar (preferably organic suger or splenda or sweet-n-low) while you’re stiring it and then drink. if you are drinking it cold there really is no true way to keep it sweetened just like any other cold drink the suger crystals won’t melt. so making some hot and adding suger then throw it in the fridge for a few hours (making it the night before) then drinking it helps me. or while it’s hot add a tid bit of honey. however you take this i hope it helps !

A dollop of Honey – - – also add mint – - – another old time recipe is to add equal parts lemon-grass and chamomile. Enjoy.

Unless you want put sugar in it not a whole lot. It is an acquired taste. Try steeping tea bag for only about 2 min. or less. You still get the benefits w/o the bitterness. Add a little cinnamon which is also good for you. Or you could add some fresh lemon juice. It took awhile but I acquirred a taste for grn.tea. I drink 6 to 8 cups daily.

While boiling the water, add a few slices of ginger.
    Use honey as a sweetener.

Many people who say green tea tastes bitter may be surprised to learn that it might be because it’s not being brewed properly. A few simple problems typically arise, and can easily be rectified.

    Problem #1: Boiling Water

Unlike black tea, which requires boiling water to release all the flavor and aroma captured in the leaves, green tea is far more delicate. Never use boiling water. The water should be cooler than boiling. How cool? About 170-180 degrees F should suffice. But don’t worry if you don’t have a thermometer handy (most of us don’t). Just let the water come to a rolling boil, then let it cool for about 2 minutes. It’s not rocket science.

    Problem #2: Too Much Tea

People often put way too much green tea in their teapots. A recommended amount is about 1 teaspoon per 6 ounce cup of water. If you like your green tea stronger, go ahead and put a bit more in.

    Problem #3: Oversteeping

This is probably the biggest mistake most people make. I typically don’t let my green tea leaves infuse for more than 3 minutes. Infuse even less if you like a light cup.

So the next time you make green tea, follow these simple guidelines and your tea won’t taste bitter.
