I heard green tea speeds up your metabolism, but how much do I have to consume for this to work?

You could drink it non-stop all day (theoretically) and it’s not going to make a significant difference. It does have slight metabolism boosting qualities, but don’t expect to see any weight loss from drinking green tea alone…sorry (nor from taking any green tea diet pills).
Green tea has some great properties though, including antioxidants. It is good for you, but for weight loss you need to eat right and exercise. However, green tea is fine to include in that regime as a low-cal beverage (assuming you don’t add anything to it to negate the low/no cal effects).
Dont believe everything you read.
seriously, how can tea speed up your metabolism ??
think about it.
just eat something small and healthy every 2-3 hours….
It cleans your system out which may in turn produce that weight loss and it does speed your metabolism. My grandma on my dads side was born in Japan and when we’d visit her on vacation in Hawaii she’d always be drinking green tea. Like 5 cups a day, not just at one meal though.
