Green Tea help boost metalbolism. How many pounds will I shred in a week just by drinking Green Tea and not eat anything. Please take the best guess you can ![]()

Have you seen the sugar content in green tea?
And eating nothing for a week is just plain stupid. At the very least eat an energy bar and take a vitamin daily.
If you drink water instead, it would be a much healthier option
One week of only green tea = 0 calories and a trip to the emergency department for malnutrition.
We all need at least 1500 calories a day to survive and be happy! So, eat sensibly, exercise 3-5 days a week and drink lots of water. Drink green tea to help and you can lose 1-2 pounds a week.
Eat nothing = sick
Green tea will help.
But you still need to eat food. I hope you are joking…
Hardly any. I know a person who has drunk it for ages, doesn’t like it and they are still the same size they were. Eat less – exercise more – it couldn’t be any simpler! If you starve yourself, your body will eat your muscles – making you less able to exercise less likely to try. Eat a better diet and get out more – the worst part of exercise is getting ready to do it! I ride a bike 40 miles a day to work and home – I eat what I like; drink far too much and weigh 75kg. At 186cm and 5% fat; I’m pretty pleased with that.
I hate to break it to ya, but green tea alone will not help you lose weight. You must eat a balanced, nutritious diet. Stop counting calories! Just eat healthy and listen to your body, it will tell you when it’s had enough. And exercise! If it was so easy to lose weight just drinking green tea, we’d all be skinny.
Starving yourself is a really horrible thing to do. That counts as anorexia, you know. (In case you don’t know what that is; it’s a very very serious mental disorder in which men & women starve themselves for days & sometimes even longer than weeks because they think they need to lose weight. Many people have actually died from this disorder. It’s definitely not something you want to mess around w/. It’s similar to bulimia, which is another serious disorder in which people eat, but then vomit up their food afterwards. it’s also extremely dangerous & people also have died from it because it seriously damages your esophagus & leads to heart problems).
What you should do if you really want to lose weight is 1) Eat smaller portions. I’m not saying drastically smaller; just about 1/3 smaller, maybe? 2) Exercise. Go to the gym every week. How many days in the week is up to you, depending on how much weight you want to lose. 3) Try your green tea experiment. Drink it every day, because it’s also really good for your immune system, so you won’t get sick as often & if you do get sick, you recover quicker & more easily.
