How to make Green tea and Whiskey?

I went to Hong Kong about 6 months ago, and they served us Whiskey with Green tea at the bar, it was really tasty couldn't taste too much alcohol like drinking a shot. Has anyone tried those before and do you know if they add sugar in it?

Yes, this is a popular drink in Singapore night spots. Note that the green tea used is the bottled kind that is already sweetened so no sugar is added.
Half fill an old-fashioned glass with ice, pour in a shot of whisky and top up with the green tea. Adjust the porportion of alcohol to tea according to taste if you want it more or less strong.

Hi Margaret, I know exactly what you’re talking about. This is a very popular drink in Asia. It calls for some Chivas Regal, and green tea. Very simple to make, and test out different proportions to get the ratio correct. Sugar may or may not be added to the drink, as it’s really up to you. If it tasted a little sweet then my guess is that they put sugar in the tea before mixing it with the Chivas.

Edit: 2 parts tea and one part whiskey seem to produce a nice drink, though the whiskey is still apparent. try 3 parts tea to one part whiskey for a milder taste. Try the first link here: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=green+tea+whiskey
