Is green tea as healthy if watered down?

I like to drink white/green tea but don’t like small quantities. The bag I bought of loose tea says to use 2 tablespoons for 8 ounces but that is too small a cup for me. So I use 2 or 3 tablespoons for 16-24 ounces. Does that still have the equivalent health benefits to drinking an 8oz cup or does the extra water somehow diminish the positive aspects?

You should still get the same health benefits of green tea even if it is more "watered down". You will just have to drink more of the liquid to receive the same health benefits of tea that you would from a stronger cup. If that’s the way you like to drink it, I’d keep brewing it to your liking. With green tea, just make sure that the water is not too hot and that you don’t steep for too long (3 minutes is usually good) – otherwise, the tea will get bitter and you won’t enjoy it.
