Every time I go to Starbucks, I order an iced green tea. It’s so good for you! But when I attempt to make it at home, it is not nearly as smooth. What is a good and easy method to making a smooth iced green tea that actually has some substance/flavor? Mine usually comes out flavorless.
A form of spiritual art. Mariko-san impressed me with her elegant movement, deep knowledge, and thoughtful attention to every detail. Music by “Gagaku” singing ‘Hichiriki’ Traditional Japanese court music found by itunes podcast directory. From www.Wikipedia.org The Japanese tea ceremony (chanoyu 茶の湯, lit. “tea hot-water”; also called chadō or sadō, 茶道, “the way of tea”) is a multifaceted traditional activity based on Taoism (Daoism) and influenced by Zen Buddhism, in which powdered green tea, or matcha (抹茶), is ceremonially prepared and served to others. The get-togethers for chanoyu are called chakai (literally “tea meeting”) or chaji (literally “tea function”). Usually the term chakai is used to refer to a relatively simple course of hospitality that includes the service of confections, usucha (thin tea), and perhaps tenshin (a light snack), while the term chaji refers to a more formal course of hospitality including kaiseki (a special kind of full-course meal), confections, koicha (thick tea), and usucha (thin tea). i absolutely love green tea when i get it in sushi/japanese restaurants, and then when i go to the store and buy the tea bags of green tea.. it does not taste the same at all!
does anyone know where i can find that great tea that they serve at japanese restaurants? the stuff that they pour out of the tea pots and it has some green tea leaf flakes at the bottom?
I really enjoy this smoothie and to cut costs, i was hoping someone that worked at Robeks could tell me the measurements used of each of the ingredients so i can make it at home. I already know it takes Matcha Green Tea, Soy Milk, non-fat yogurt and ice.
Today i bought some lipton green tea bags to so i can MAKE gallons of it instead of BUYING gallons of it. How many bags do i need to use in order to make it taste like the green tea that is sold in stores?
I generally know that green tea is healthy overall for health, but will it help with acne if i rub a green tea bag on my face after i brew and steep it?
for further answers, lets assume i already eat healthy, wash my face twice daily, and am on prescribed pills and topical creams. This is to avoid monotonous and daily routines that generally avoid the question. Thanks.
