I have hypothyroidism, and I found out that green tea has high levels of fluoride in it, which should be avoided if a person has hypothyroidism. Does anyone know a brand that has low levels? Thanks. Also, does anyone know other foods/drinks to boost my metabolism?

Hey i was wondering if green tea speeds up your metabolism. Im a skinny guy (5’9 125 pounds) and i have a super fast metabolism. I eat 4500 calories per day and workout 5x a week. The thing is im addicted to drinking green tea. So should i keep drinking green tea or stop because it speeds up my metabolism?

There’s the new Snapple drink of "All Natural Green Tea with 55mg of EGCG" to boost your metabolism. I think all green tea did that before anyways but I just am wondering what would happen if one drank a bottle a day? What about a large amount like 4 bottles a day? Would it affect your health for the better or worse? Would you lose too much weight? Basically, what would happen?

I need something to supplement my weight loss regimen of eating healthy and exercising but I want something natural to help boost my metabolism and energy levels. I was told that green tea would definitely do the trick but I need to know which brand of green tea works the best and where I can buy it.
By the way I live in Detroit, Michigan. Walmart, Meijers, CVS, Walgreens?

Okay well I hear that green tea increases your metabolism, clears your skin, and a whole lot of other stuff. So how long does it take to show these effects? Thanks.

I want to lose a few more pounds and I keep hearing how great green tea is to boost your metabolism and how it’s full of antioxidants. Is it as effective when it’s iced, or do you have to drink it hot?

I try to exercise everyday in order to increase my metabolism, and I recently read that drinking green tea may be beneficial for my metabolism too. The problem is that I try to consume as little caffeine as possible, as it gives me acne. I don’t have access to caffeine free green tea for the moment (because I am abroad and I couldnt find it nor get information). Still, I wonder if 1 cup per day would be enough, or if the more I drink, the best. ?

I heard green tea speeds up your metabolism, but how much do I have to consume for this to work?
