What are the benefits of drinking green tea?
I mean scientifically proven benefits. not the benefits which haven’t been proven by science. I have heard lots of good things about green tea but I found out that very few of them are actually proven in medical community.
It could be that manufacturers of green tea intentionally create false impressions about its advantages, since they want their product to be sold. That is why I ask. Thanks

It has more antioxidants than black tea; anti-o’s fight free radicals (helps with premature aging). I hate the taste, though – bitter if you ask me.
dont know about scientific but for me it seems to clean out my system pretty good
A lot of tea green tea health benefits are demonstrated by scientific studies, but they are not proven.
The reason they are not proven is because it takes a LOT of studies to get to that stage. That will be something that takes YEARS.
Despite that, scientists are urging us to drink more of green tea. Why?
This is because it is SOooo many semi-proven health benefits – I mean, pretty much anything you can think of.
It also has no disadvantages of other health foods. It is affordable, has little or no side effects, contains zero calories and helps stay in shape.

Hope it helps.
