What brand of green tea pills are all around the most effective? Do they actually work?

I am searching for a good brand of green tea pills that will help me with a variety of things; ADD, weight loss, depression, and generallly good health. Which brand is the most effective when altering these? And do green tea pills actually work or is is just another one of those placebo things? What store can I purchase it from?

Green Tea is Green Tea. There are some that are standardized extracts (which means it’s a higher potency), and that’s the most beneficial kind to get for most people.
Ultimately, Green Tea is an excellent antioxidant and antioxidants help to protect all your cells (especially from free radical damage), but the naturally occurring polyphenols are the things that give the most benefits that some people have used for some of the indications you’ve mentioned. However, it’s not something that will cure all of those in everyone… they can just help your body work to heal itself, which could give some of those benefits for some people.
Now, as far as the store to buy it from, any answer given here will just be personal opinion (I can give you my opinion if you’d like). There are many higher quality companies out there that are readily available and well priced… just make sure the company has a good rating with either the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or USP (U.S. Pharmacopoeia), as those are the main quality assurance organizations (USP is for the U.S., GMP is for the U.S. and worldwide).
