i hope your planning on doing diet and exercise as well. Green tea can help boost ur metabolism a a bit, notice i said ‘a bit". There are no magic pills. A good lower cal diet and exercise are a must for fat loss.
But if you want to buy green just go to the pharmacy section at the grocery store ( or a drug store ) and buy the green tea in the vitamin section. Dont get the green tea in the diet pill section, its the same stuff but it cost 3 times as much. Green tea is green tea in the end.
yes there is something else at the grocery store you should get, healthier foods. this will be the key to your fat loss, not pills.
As long as its sugar free/calorie free then youre fine… I buy Yogi Tea Super Anti-oxident. It seems to help flush my system (though that could just be the caffiene in the tea)
The only way to lose weight is calorie restriction and exercise. You should be doing cardio at least 60-90 minutes a day/6 days a week. Do resistence training at least 3-4 times a week for strength and toning, and ab exercises at least 4-5 days a week.
Mate tea (or yerba mate) is actually a great weight loss tea. It’s not a green tea, but an herbal tea. It’s a natural appetite suppressant, is full of antioxidants, and has a similar effect to a caffeinated beverage without the crash associated with caffeine.
I’m not sure if it’s widely available in grocery stores, but you can order some online for less than $5: http://hottesttea.com/mate-tea/
Recent studies have shown that Green tea will aid in the reduction of weight by stimulating the body’s thermogenesis process, which increases the expenditure of energy and the oxidization of fat in the body. Many compounds discovered in plants have this effect. The difference in green tea is that it will not increase the heart rate, and is therefore believed to be safer than diet pills such as ephidrine that also work by stimulating thermogenesis.
A lot of people who are overweight have or are at run the risk of a development of hypertension and other possible cardiovascular problems, so the fact that green tea does not put pressure on the heart makes it a wonderful choice. Consider green tea as a much safer option to Ephidrine if you are within this risk group. It means that you can gradually increase your exercise levels without increasing your risk of heart problems.
To lose weight there really are only two ways: one way to do this is by increasing expenditure of energy (using up more calories)and the other is by eating less (consuming fewer calories). Green tea works by boosting output and this can be by around 4%. Most scientists believe that this is caused by the high quantity of catechin that is found in the tea and its extract.
Powerful antioxidants are one of the added benefits Green tea has that could be beneficial to your health in many ways, strengthening the immune system and protecting against disease.
Keep in mind that green tea does contain caffeine so you should cut out coffee and other forms of tea while you are taking it. Decaffeinated Green tea is not recommended because removing the caffeine with certain chemical processes may be destructive to the beneficial properties of the plant.
At the same time you will need to exercise control in what you eat. If you eat more to compensate for the calories that are burnt by the tea, you will not lose any weight. Over a few weeks you should see results in gradual weight loss and better energy levels if you maintain in the same calorific count and the taking of green tea. Of course you can increase the speed of this by increasing exercise and/ or reducing your calorie consumption.
Green tea is a simple, easy and inexpensive weight control aid that can easily be incorporated into any weight loss program. The decision between the tea or extract offers something for everybody. Safe and natural, green tea weight loss should be a feature in your diet program if you want to keep the weight off permanently.
