it has been medically proven to have many benefits for the body..but it is not something you will visually see..it works from the inside..i personally love to sun brew mine on a hot day and i add spermint leaves from my garden to it…so refreshing
Tea does nothing special, to be entirely frank. It’s the same thing as drinking more water–it fills up your stomach to make you less hungry.
If it has caffeine, it might boost your metabolism…but only a little..the equivalent of standing instead of sitting…and only for a short period of time.
Overall, I think it’s much better than coffee, because it is overall healthier (does have minerals and antioxidants), and it is not as dehydrating as coffee…nor as addicting.
But it won’t replace diet and exercise.
White, green and black teas are all high in anti-oxidants – they are very beneficial. They all come from the same plant – the difference is in the maturity of the leaves. White is the youngest, then green and when ripened you get black tea. I like to add a little honey to my tea, otherwise the taste is rather bland.
I drink it all the time.
Its yummy and keeps me in balance.
I always drink it when I’m done exercising, the cold kind (Lipton’s Green Tea: Citrus!). And if my stomach hurts I’ll drink some hot green tea! It’s rather spot on if you ask me, oh wait, you are. =)
Ive drank green tea 3 times a day for 3 months, didnt help much lost maybe 5 pounds and im like really overweight, its exercise and good diet that counts
