It depends mostly on the person. I can drink Green Tea at 9:00 PM and be in bed by 9:15 as I have been drinking Green Tea and Coffee heavily for the past two years. Green Tea before bed is actually not a horrible idea if you can do it. Green Tea boosts your metabolism which becomes stagnant at night assuming you are not taking a casein protein. Try a later time every day until it impacts your ability to fall asleep. If you get to a point where the Green Tea is making it hard to sleep try taking Melatonin which is another great Antioxidant.

Try 5pm and see if it bothers you falling asleep.
If you want to drink green tea later, try a decaf green tea.

Start drinking a different sort with a lower caffeine content and you can do it as late as you like. :)
